Year 5-6 Excursion to Canberra

The excursion aims to allow students to consolidate their learning from the history syllabus unit, ‘Australia as a Nation,’ where they learn about the history and ongoing procedures of parliament and politics in Australia. In addition to these valuable experiences that build on their learning in the classroom, students will have the opportunity to develop positive relationships with their peers through the experience of the excursion and exploring various tourist attractions that Canberra has to offer.
